Spain September 2001

This trip started on the infamous 9/11 we were supposed to be having a wee snooze during the day, to allow riding through the night, but as the news events unfolded through the day, that was not possible.
We left Bellshill at 10pm heading for Plymouth, the longest 500 miles I've ever done I can tell you...come 5am we were tired, freezing and I kept falling asleep at the bars, no matter how many times we stopped. Fiona had to keep digging me in the ribs and shouting through the intercom to keep me awake...scary stuff. >>
